Bamboo and faux canes are quite plentiful in the marketplace (in fact, in many locales bamboos have been naturalized for free harvesting); however, it can be a real challenge trying to connect them into sturdy support cages using wires, cords or twine. Once you finally get them built, if you want to make quit changes – forget it – you might as well start from scratch.
Our ingenious Cane Connector Corner Balls solve the problem by allowing for fast and easy construction of frames for all of your garden needs – without the needs for tools (though cane shears and a rubber mallet may be useful). Each ball features 6 tapered ½ in holes that can accept up to 6 canes of varying lengths and calipers – one hole connects internally to allow 1 cane to be fed through ball and act as a mid point support. Moveable cages and semi-permanent frames can be designed quickly, protecting your plants from a multitude of pests, birds and weather events. Simply fasten the coverings to the frames using zip ties and you have yourself a sturdy garden cage! This semi-soft, reusable connector balls are a must-have for an obsessed gardener.
