The new Compact AeroBin 200 is perfectly sized for small gardens, porches and patios - even urban dwellers with nothing more than a deck can utilize this innovative model. With a 53-gallon capacity in only a 20” x 20” footprint, in can fit into the tightest of spaces while providing lots of room for your food scraps. Just like the other models in this collection, the AeroBin 200 features a double walled body with insulation sandwiched between for superior temperature moderation. Unit stays warm in the winter and cooler in the summer – maintaining the perfect environment for the beneficial microbes that do the work for us. To maximize aerobic activity and minimize production of foul odors, a centrally located internal ‘lung’ provides continuous airflow throughout the active pile. A bottom reservoir collects all of the liquid effluent so that your patio stays clean from ooze. This leachate can be used to make a nutritious soil drench when properly diluted. Intelligently designed insulated lid helps recycle water through condensation, retaining ample moisture inside. The hinged lid and dual access doors allow for convenient access into the inside of the bin. Designed in Australia.
