EcoConcepts Eco-Flex Chicken Coop + Pen
Designed for longevity, convenience and comfort, the EcoConcepts Chicken Coop is an attractive house with attached pen that has many of the features you would expect in a $1000 setup. Manufactured from a durable material referred to as Eco-Flex -- an innovative blend of recycled plastics and wood byproducts -- this composite resembles natural cedar in its unfinished state and is highly resistant to rot, weather and insects. If can even been painted or stained to match the house and out buildings. The actual house section includes a front door with a secure latch, a back sliding door for controllable entry into the pen, a side hen room attachment with hinged roof for private egg laying and convenient harvesting, parallel bars for roosting, a removable handled floor for easy cleaning with soapy water, and adjustable ventilation for climate control. The oversized pen attaches securely to the house and can be accessed by either the front or top entry doors; the 18-gauge wire mesh is galvanized after welding to enhance corrosion resistance.
