Two hinged windows at top each have 2 height brackets for independent ventilation adjustment. Twin wall polycarbonate panels are more durable than glass and effectively insulate your seedlings and cuttings from the harsh elements, snow and hungry nibblers. With more than 13 SF of growing area, you can grow fresh, cold season greens, such as chard, lettuce, kale and spinach all winter long. Rounded edges for added safety. These frames are also and excellent way of starting seeds early – without sacrificing indoor space. For additional height, place on concrete blocks or bricks. Ground states included.
Winter Tip: paint a 1-gallon container black and fill with water. Place one in each section and allow the sun to warm them up during the day. The thermal mass of the water will slowly release the stored warmth back into the cold frame at night – helping keep your plants toasty.
