In a single pass, you can open the soil, plant the seed, fertilize it, cover it up and then mark the row – without having to bend or stoop. The adjustable height shovel allows flexibility in seed planting depth based on vegetable variety – improving your germination rate. This American-made unit includes a 10-pound, front-mounted fertilizer hopper, with a flow control for customizable fertilization rates (1 lb, 2 lbs, or 3 lbs for every 100 feet). Six standard seed plates are included with this row planter, which can collectively accommodate 31 common seed sizes.
