USEFUL TIPS: before adding soil, place a rodent barrier underneath to protect your plants from burrowing critters. Do not fill planter bed to the rim so that you have spare room for mulch or hay. Raised garden beds tend to dry out faster than the surround soils - adding a water retentive polymer to the mixture will assist in maintaining adequate levels of soil moisture. Place on level ground only. Remove or smoother sod before placing on grass.
