A lot of folks want to get into gardening, but are not sure where to begin. Two of the limiting factors are lack of ample gardening space and time. With the UrBin Grow Planter, you can grow nutritious, healthy food in a relatively small footprint. Simply blend some locally obtained potting soil and compost with the included soil amendments and trace minerals and you are ready to start your veggie patch. Using the square foot gardening methodology, you can plant several varieties of crops in each of the two containers – without having to weed or till. Simplified self-watering occurs at the bottom reservoir where wicking action pulls up water into the root systems through the separator grate that holds back the soil.
