The Soilmaker Soilsaver compost bin is a modern manifestation of a classic design that has wifthstood the test of time. This unit is ideal for the northern-tiered states because of its superior insulation characteristics. One of the few units that has a locking lid, the Soilmaker Soilsaver prevents unwanted access, while retaining internally generated heat. Because of its thick lid and insulated walls, this is one of the best systems for placement in shaded yards. The lid also has a built-in rainwater capture system allowing just the right amount of moisture to enter, without creates a swampy environment. Sturdy, no nonsense design. Developed in Canada.
