WHAT IS COMPOST TEA 
Compost tea is an aerobic water suspension that has extracted and magnified the beneficial microbe population from living compost along with nutrients favorable to plant growth and health. It is a living liquid replete with the microorganisms and vital to healthy soils. To achieve maximum benefit, the tea must be used within 4 hours after the cycle has completed. You cannot over apply compost tea.
HOW IT WORKS
Living compost, full of beneficial microbes, are put in chlorine-free water where they are allowed to multiply rapidly, with the addition of special nutrients. To maintain aerobic conditions, the water is continually oxygenated using the long-life aerator. After the 24-hour brewing cycle is complete, you have a concentrated liquid full of billions of live, beneficial microbes (bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and nematodes). This is then sprayed directly onto the plants to maintain and promote good health. Compost tea has been shown to be effective in clinical studies in suppressing a variety of diseases and boosting plant immune systems.
WHY THIS SYSTEM IS SUPERIOR
The nutrient recipes have taken years to develop so that the beneficial biodiversity of the finished product is maximized. Starting with properly decomposed compost as the base material further enhances favorable results. No human or animal waste is used in the making of the included compost; the specific ingredients include Alaska humus and a fungal-based compost (soon to be certified organic). The extended-life motor is relatively quiet and rated at 10,000 hours (ideal for weekly brewing).
